so i here, in a space between sewing, drawing, school, wife-hood and motherhood. this doesn’t happen often these last few months. I stopped working, on a regular basis, at The Vine, and started being “on-call.” I did this with the hopes of focusing more on sewing. We will see…

My husband extraordinaire has started writing again, but this time in the form of a blog. We meet and fell in love when we were both poets in Portland, OR.  We had two years of poetry craziness, before we got consumed with making art.  Neither of us have written anything for over a year now, almost three years for me.  So I am really excited that he’s at it again. We moved out of the warehouse and michael set up his studio in our garage.  Hence the name of his blog, of the garage

I start my teaching observation in the next week at the local high school.  This is the same institution that sucked four years from my life.  I will be with my old art teacher, Marty Warren.  I’m excited, but still at little nervous.
